Amazing Experience!     I am writing to thank the Skin Spa Institute for an amazing experience!  I arrived at 3:00pm for a Spa manicure and it was the best manicure that I have ever gotten!  Thank you Tamara for a beautiful manicure filled with lovely scents of cranberry scrubs and lotion!  Right after my manicure I received a European Spa facial and it was a wonderful experience as well!  My face feels so soft and more pores look smaller, thank you Christal!  The Skin Spa Institute is a beautiful spa filled with wonderful people!  Thank you so much for making me feel pampered!  Tamara - You are the most wonderful and friendliest manicurist I know!  You made my nails look great and you are so kind!  I will definitely email you and or personally send you pictures of my portfolio.  Thank you again!    Sincerely,  Maryapril It's Not Just for Women I just wanted to send this positive input on my experience with your Day Spa services. The place was very impressive in appearance and gave me the comfort I needed when I entered. The size of your establishment was just perfect to make me feel special and comfortable. All the employees were so kind and friendly. I especially would like to thank the estheticians, for making my visit comforting and relaxing, especially for the service (Braxillian Wax) I was receiving.  I will surely be a returning customer for the maintainance.  Even men try hard to keep themselves in touch with their needs and more men need to find the time and a place (like The SkinSpa) to just spend on themselves without the weird looks.  Thanks! Michael  A Little Slice of Paradise I visited the Skin Spa for my very first massage.  Everyone was friendly and the place was spotless.  The staff made me feel right at home and the massage by Lori was awesome!  It really is a little paradise tucked away from all the hustle and bustle.  I can't wait to visit again.    Raquel My Nirvana! It must have been my lucky day!  Imagine finding a small piece of Nirvana in the middle of Signal Hill!  Nestled into my drudge-chores of Costco, Home Depot, and Curves I found just an hour to spare and wandered into The SkinSpa Institute, attracted by the faint aroma of biological essences.  Once inside the beautiful and all newly designed European style salon each everyday care melted away while the pleasant staff helped me choose my own bliss, an aromatherapy facial.  Under the careful ministrations of Christal, the warmed facial bed and the gentle music worked their magic.  I came to an hour later, looking better, feeling much better, and I can't wait for the next free hour.  I plan to try every one of the delicious facials and massages, and by that time Christal will probably dream up more treats.  Try it!    Lyn Fantastic Spa Experience! My (Long time) experience at the Skin Spa has been wonderful. I LOVE the European decor, heated beds, soft lighting and classical music. It always makes me feel like I'm giving myself a special treat when I go in for a treatment and I feel SO pampered! The staff is very professional and friendly. Plus, they have fantastic products that are top quality. Every visit I try something new. I have had manicures, facials, eyebrow wax/tint, and facial peels. I was so taken back by this quaint little day spa that all I can say is WOW!!! While hidden within a small shopping center it provides an escape from the real world. You walk in and the first thing you notice is how well organized everything stands. A very enthusiastic staff greets you along with the soft warm tones of the furniture and settings. And with that said you just want to melt away. And you do just that. I received a hot stone massage and it was the best thing I've ever experienced. The therapist was very knowledgeable about the effects of this type of massage as well as others. She let me know what I should expect as a result from the massage. And she was right!!! She made me feel very comfortable while I was on the table, which is normally a hard thing for me to do, get comfortable and relax in general. The entire experience was completely worth every penny!!!!! I am now a devoted and loyal client. My search is OVER!  FINALLY!  A clean, relaxing and beautiful place to get pampered? I just received the best Guinot Facial and Swedish massage treatments of my life! The SkinSpa Institute in Signal Hill (Long Beach area) surpassed all my Spa expectations! The therapists really know what they are doing, in the treatment room and in their extensive knowledge about the products they use. The whole staff makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. (Unlike those huge day spas where they don't even know your name.) I was so relaxed during my treatments; I think I snored a bit. They specialize in Guinot treatments and products (which are hard to find), Epicuren enzyme treatments, therapeutic massage and Jan Marini peels for hard to treat acne. The customer service there is Outstanding! And I just love the beautiful and elegant European décor. They have so many different treatments I can't wait to try them all. I finally found a home away from home to feel special and pampered for my monthly treatments. Next time I'm bringing my husband.
